If you can picture it, our bespoke home furniture makers can build it.
Some projects don’t fit into categories or work for your home, and that’s exactly what bespoke furniture is for.
We regularly create one-off handmade home furniture pieces based on individual ideas and requirements. Whether it’s a statement hallway console table, a solid wood coffee table, a custom office desk or something completely unique, our team can create it.
If you have a concept in mind, we’ll refine it, advise on materials and proportions, and craft something truly personal.
At Holtom Woods, we design and craft bespoke home furniture tailored to each client’s space and style. Every piece is handmade to order using solid hardwoods and built to last. Below are examples of the bespoke and custom-made furniture pieces we regularly create across the West Midlands and surrounding regions.

Can custom-made furniture be made to fit awkward or unusual spaces?
Yes, this is one of the main reasons people choose bespoke furniture. Alcoves, sloped ceilings, chimney breasts and tight corners can all be measured and built around precisely, something ready-made furniture rarely achieves.
What rooms can bespoke furniture be made for?
Bespoke home furniture can be designed for almost any room, including bedrooms, home offices, entertainment rooms and under-stair spaces. Our team of joiners and carpenters create made-to-measure wardrobes, media units, desks, shelving and more.
Do you offer bespoke home furniture across the West Midlands?
Yes. Holtom Woods designs and fits bespoke furniture for homes across Solihull, Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and the wider West Midlands from our base in Shirley, Solihull.
How much does custom-made furniture cost?
The cost of bespoke furniture depends on the size, materials, finish and complexity of the design, so prices vary from project to project. Because every piece is made to measure, we offer a free, no-obligation custom home furniture consultation and quote so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins.
What is bespoke furniture?
Bespoke furniture is furniture designed and built from scratch to fit your exact space, style and requirements, rather than ready-made pieces from furniture stores. At Holtom Woods, our bespoke furniture makers measure your room and create each piece by hand in the UK, so it fits perfectly with no gaps or compromises.
